Meet our team

Stuart Rushton

The firm’s founder and driving force has been in estate agency since 1986 and locally since 1989. Very much immersed in the day-to-day running of this growing business, Stuart has huge experience in this market sector, and is immediately on hand to deal personally with each and every client.


Alexandra Moore
Head of Sales

Alex has been with the company since 2002, and in estate agency since 1982. With a wealth of experience Alex manages the sales team and oversees the sales process for our clients, liaising with vendors, purchasers, solicitors and brokers to ensure things run as smoothly as possible.


Richard Shelmerdine
Sales Negotiator

Richard joined the firm in 2017 and enjoys a senior role in the sales team with 17 invaluable years experience in the property industry after completing a three year degree at university. Richard enjoys building and maintaining relationships with clients and advising them through the whole sales process.


Harvey Gledhill
Sales Negotiator

Harvey has been with the Stuart Rushton team since 2014, and has gained great experience in the residential estate agency sector. His enthusiasm for the property industry is obvious, dedicated to see sales through from start to finish, and going the extra mile for clients when needed. Harvey has recently taken the role of heading up the new build sales part of the business, a strong growth area for the firm.


Grace Bolshaw
Sales Negotiator

Grace joined the firm in 2015, and is a senior member of the sales team in her role as sales negotiator. Grace is a natural in the service industry, organised and enthusiastic she is always prepared to go above and beyond to get the job done quickly and efficiently for our clients.


Marcus Roberts
Sales Negotiator

A member of the sales team since 2013, Marcus prides himself on a strong understanding of our current portfolio and the Cheshire property market as a whole. He enjoys a front of house role, interacting with vendors and purchasers both out on sales appointments and in the office.


Lindsay Stott
Sales Negotiator

Lindsay joined in 2005, and is a huge part of the sales team, spending time with purchasers showing properties, and dealing with enquiries from our busy sales office on King Street. Lindsay’s knowledge of our current portfolio is extensive, visiting all the houses as they come on to the market, and she is known for her fantastic vision for a homes’ future potential.


Vinny Lombardo
Sales Negotiator

Vinny joined the team mid-way through 2018 and is gaining experience and knowledge of the property portfolio on a daily basis. He engages with potential clients, interacting with them on viewings and in the office in a friendly and professional manner, wanting to help in the best way he can.


Lindsay O’Brien
Office Manager

Lindsay joined the company in 2009 and manages the administration areas, and is responsible for marketing, compliance, and HR. Lindsay also oversees the company’s adherence to relevant legislation governing estate agency operators, and looks after the day-to-day running of the office.


Lyn Young

Lyn has worked with the company since 2017 and supports Lindsay in the administration function working closely with clients to produce professional, attractive marketing material for each property, and assisting with any queries from both vendors and purchasers.



Howard Leach MARLA
Lettings Manager

Howard joined us in 2011 and is responsible for overseeing the lettings process from initial offer, through to tenancy commencement. He handles the management side of the business and corresponds with tenants and contractors to ensure maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Having been with the business for several years, Howard has an excellent rapport with all of our landlords and provides the crucial point of contact for all queries regarding the ever more onerous lettings legislation.


Emily Boase
Lettings & Management Administrator

Emily joined Stuart Rushton Lettings & Management in 2019 and deals with all day to day management issues as well as inspections and viewings.


Claire Sinclair-Jackson
Accounts Administrator

Claire joined the lettings team in 2017 and manages the daily accounts for our landlords and tenants. She has comprehensive knowledge of The Finance Act 1995 and ensures we remain fully compliant with the ever changing Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Claire also assists with the day to day property management, alongside accompanying viewings and conducting management inspections.
